The Didactic Area
The Didactic Area works on the development of different programs that complement the exhibitions and other activities organized by the Foundation.
The Área Didáctica (Didactic Area) of the Picasso Foundation has as it main aim to bring near
the public in general the life and work of the Malaguenian artist by means of educative programs
which develop activities and different proposals adapted to the visitors, such as guided visits,
didactic dossiers, workshops in the Didactic Room, especial courses for the teaching staff... that
are always related to the temporary exhibitions, Picasso's work and life, the plastic arts and the
contemporary art.
The Didactic Area offers several activities during the school holidays (Christmas workshops,
summer workshops...). There are also especial events throughout the year (International Day of the
Museums, Picassian October...)
Our educational offer is free and open to all kind of public -previous reservation-:
students, professionals, handicapped, groups, associations.
