Quality Commitment

Logotipo SICTED

The Picasso Foundation and Birthplace Museum is granted with the SICTED quality assurance certificate for a continuous development, a project undertaken by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces and funded by the General Secretariat for Tourism.
The main aim of SICTED (Sistema Integral de Calidad Turística en Destino) is to reach a constant level of quality within the same setting, which means that even if there is an acceptable level of quality in a certain area of the touristic setting, it will not be accepted a difference of quality between the different elements that make up the offer, that might determine the tourist’s perception and satisfaction.
The quality assurance certificate for a continuous development is granted to the touristic companies/ services that have proven to comply with the established standards. It is an acknowledgement of the establishment’s effort, commitment with quality, and continuous improvement, at the same time distinguishing it from the competition. The distinction is renewed twice a year, being conditioned by an annual evaluation.
